Concurrent enrollment includes taking college courses while you are in high school. Many seniors opt for this schedule in order to get a jump start on some college classes and credits. Many times you can save some money since concurrent classes are less expensive for tuition and sometimes even free. Students must be approved by the principal and counselor to take concurrent classes. Typically, a high school senior will go to high school for half a day and college for half a day. Concurrent classes are transcirbed on the high school transcript. Students are still required to meet the 6-hour day rule.
