Our History
The community of Dale had its beginning years before statehood. Dale School District #17 was an original school district, created by County Superintendent C. J. Slattery in 1892.
The first Board of Education at Dale was established in 1893 by the original planners of the town, which was settled with the arrival of the Choctaw Railroad.
