The Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced earlier this week that beginning September 1st schools will be allowed to serve ALL students free meals temporarily “as long as funding allows.” This will also include grab and go breakfast (offered to middle school and high school students) and the first slice of pizza. We will continue to offer a-la carte items. Extra milk or juice will be charged $.50 each and extra pizza will be charged $2.50 per slice. All monies previously paid to your child’s account will remain as a credit in their account for future use. Please feel free to contact me with any further questions at (405) 964-5558.

The State Department of Health now requires ALL students entering 7th grade to have a TDAP Booster. If you are the parent or guardian of a 6th grade student, you may want to schedule an appointment for the vaccine soon in order to avoid the rush in August. Students will not be allowed to attend 7th grade next school year until proof of the TDAP vaccine has been provided to the middle school office. Thank you for your cooperation.
